Devotion is shown in many ways, such as performing Pooja, Nama-Sankeerthanam, Pilgrimage and visit to temples, etc, Even though, God is Omni-present, it is the temples which bring out the divinity in a form suitable for WORSHIP and where GOD pervades everybody’s heart and soul. In this world, which is fraught with trails and tribulations, conflicts and erosion in values, the construction of Temples/Ashrams will indeed be the path to re-inforce our own cultural and spiritual base, in the time tested concept of Temple worship.
Narayaneeya Satsang Samiti is an institution established with the prime objective of constructing a Temple of Narayaneeyam called as Narayaneeya Aalayam for Sri Melpathur Narayana Bhattathiri. It a dream of the institution to inscribe complete Narayaneeyam on the inside walls of the temple in Sanskrit on marble stones. Hence this Narayaneeya Aalayam will be a first ever Temple of Narayaneeyam in the world.
Kerala has a very strong knowledge of Prasnam, a method by which we can come to know of many past happenings and future predictions. This system is especially used in temples called Ashtamangalya Prasnam to understand where a new temple has to be constructed and any improvement that needs to be brought about in the temple.
By this method of Ashtamangalya Prasnam, it has been found that a land area of 11 acres at Igatpuri is ideal place for building temple for Shri Narayana Bhattathiri. Hence we plan to construct this Narayaneeyam temple here.

This institution has been initiated and blessed by Guru Sri Naraharipriya Mataji of Abhedananda Ashram, Tiruvananthapuram. Under able guidance and blessings of Mataji, this initiative has been taken up with a very humble beginning but with a high ambition. This institution has been started with personal financial contribution from the promoter families.
We have formed a registered trust 15 years back in the name of Narayaneeya Satsang Samiti and have been carrying out all the activities including a Narayaneeya Saptaham every year from 1st January to 7th January with core intention to build the temple. Our trust has received 80G sanction as per Income Tax Act, which provides tax exemption for devotees who donate to the trust, in August 2019 as we also carry out lot of charitable and social improvement activities.
Our Trust had applied for FCRA (foreign Contribution Regulation Act) in 2021. We have great pleasure in informing that we have now received FCRA Approval from Home Ministry, Government of India. Now, we can solicit donations from our Indian devotees who are permanently settled abroad and wish to contribute in foreign currency for building Narayaneeyam Temple.
