Swamini Naraharipriya Mataji had spent more than 60 years teaching Narayaneeyam and various other spiritual scriptures to everyone whoever came seeking for it. Mataji has covered almost all over India and every nook and corner of Mumbai. All this was done free of cost and without any personal benefit. Mataji was initiated into this spiritual life by her first Guru Late Brahmashree Thirunamacharyan Anjam Madhavan Namboodiri of Guruvayoor. Mataji learnt Narayaneeyam from Sri M. R. Venkatiswara Iyer, the pioneer who brought Narayaneeyam to masses in Mumbai.
Purvashrama name was Smt. Bharti Menon and in 1995, she took sannyas from Shree Bhajanananda Swami, Abedashram, Thiruvanathapuram and She was known as Swamini Naraharipriya Mataji. From 2005 till 2021, She was Vice-President of Abedashram.
This project of Narayaneeya Aalayam has been personally blessed by Mataji and this trust was started by Shri V. S. Viswanathan in 2006. Mataji is our main strength and we have taken the first toddler’s step towards the achievement of the main objective.
